Concordia Community Garden in MillWoods
Concordia is building a community garden in MillWoods: come and garden with us!
Why a Community Garden in the Meyokumin neighbourhood?
– to provide access to gardening space for those who don't have suitable land – to engage people, especially children, in growing food – to demonstrate gardening techniques to new gardeners and/or new canadians – to provide an outdoor gathering place in the community – to increase the edible landscape of the community – to promote urban agriculture |
2021 Gardening Season is Open!
Stage One has begun!
Thanks to the generous support of Sustainable Foods Edmonton and the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, construction has begun!
16 gardening plots are available for interested community gardeners!
Some are already growing plants, some are awaiting seeds, and some are still available.
Each plot measures 6 x 6 feet... lots of room to grow!
